In addition to your fire risk assessment requirements Fire Risk Services can offer a wide variety of fire training courses including:
New staff should be trained company fire procedures at the commencement of employment. Thereafter staff should be trained every year.
Training should be more frequent if staff are employed in certain areas and work at night e.g. hotels and care homes. Other staff with more specific duties or responsibilities e.g. fire wardens or marshals should have more comprehensive training.
This course designed for all members of staff. It will provide employees with greater fire safety awareness and is designed to increase their confidence in the action to take in case of a fire occurring.
The course includes the theory of combustion, causes of fire and the correct way to tackle a fire using the fire extinguishers available. This Course is approximately 1.5 Hours long and can be conducted at your location to minimize disruption to your staff.
All courses are certificated and provide compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
This course is designed for all members of staff. The aim of the course is to give staff a greater understanding of the fire risks in the workplace and be able to evacuate the premises safely and effectively.
This course is designed specifically for those who have been, or will be appointed to carry out the duties of a Fire Warden or Fire Marshall.
The course includes the theory of combustion, causes of fire and the correct way to tackle a fire using the fire extinguishers available. The Fire Warden/Marshall Course is approximately 2 Hours long and can be conducted at your location to minimize disruption to your staff.
